This weekend’s Three Card Draw comes from the Psychic Tarot for the Heart Oracle. This deck generally focuses on matters of the heart and all the different types of relationships in your life. So if you have a question about a relationship – romantic or otherwise – and would like additional insight, this is the spread for you!
Green is actually the color associated with the Heart Chakra, so I think it’s particularly fitting that the back of these cards are a vibrant green color – my camera doesn’t do it justice at all!!
Have you made your choice?
Selected a card?
One, two, or three?
Are you ready for the reveal?
Here we go!!
Card 1 – Reach Out
The keywords associated with this card are teamwork, preparation, alchemy and achievement. The message of this card is fairly obvious – when you need help, you should ask for it. While you’re a strong and capable person, you frequently forget to ask other people for assistance. This card is a reminder that you don’t have to do it alone – there is much support and assistance available to you – through family, friends, colleagues – even groups and professionals.
At the end of the day, you will still likely get where you’re going, but this card is a reminder that your goals can be achieved faster and perhaps more gracefully with the help of others.
With respect to relationships, this card is telling you that reaching out to someone is safe – and maybe even encouraged – at this time. If there’s a difficult conversation that you’ve been avoiding, now is the time to have it. If there’s a fence that needs to be mended, make the call. If there’s an ex that you miss, chances are that person is missing you as well.
And if you make the effort and it doesn’t go as well as you’re anticipating, don’t forget that even closure is a gift.
Card 2 – Simply Love
The keywords associated with this card are nostalgia, innocence, kindness, youth.
This card is an indication that you are somehow going back to your childhood. You might return to your childhood home, you might hear from or run into a high school friend, or somehow your childhood is triggered – through an encounter, an event, a dream.
This card appears to remind you of your younger years, when everything seemed fresh and new and possible. Life was simpler then and this card is a call to action to bring this innocence and openness into the present moment and into all your relationships.
Kindness and generosity are at the forefront when this card appears. Look for ways to help family and friends, especially children. Reach out to them and assist them in any way you can. Sometimes just a bit of attention is all that someone needs. Where kindness prevails, relationships flourish.
As well, if you – or someone close to you – are hoping to become pregnant or adopt a child, this card is a positive sign.
With respect to romantic relationships, this card could indicate that the person for you is someone from your past, someone you’ve already met. If you’re in a relationship, this card encourages you to think back to when you first met your significant other and recall all the reasons why you fell in love with that person to begin with– try to bring that energy and excitement into your relationship now.
Card 3 – Darkest Fears
The keywords associated with this card include anxiety, doubt, resolve, and release.
What are you so scared of? This card invites us to go deep within and spend some time with our darkest fears. When we look at these things, when we really shine a light on our darkest fears, they generally cease to exist. This card wants you to take that time and put some of your darkest fears to rest.
When we lose ourselves in self-doubt and insecurity, we’re really just pushing away all the great things in our lives. And realistically, we tend to go to worse case scenario but how frequently does worst case scenario ever happen? Almost never. Think about that too.
With respect to relationships, when a romantic relationship does not go as planned or when the relationship you want does not materialize, it’s easy to lose yourself in worry and doubt. You may even question your own worthiness. It’s easy to become obsessed with all your darkest fears regarding love. This is a great time to think about how you might be sabotaging yourself. How do you let your darkest fears impact your love live? Do you settle for far less than you deserve because you feel that having something is better than nothing? Do you not stand up for yourself in relationships because you don’t feel worthy of having your voice heard? Have you ever taken a moment to consider that maybe those darkest-fear voices in your head might be wrong?
Don’t be surprised if issues relating to your darkest fears come to light this week. But that is such a great opportunity for changing and releasing some of the unnecessary bullshit that holds us back, especially in romantic relationships.
At the end of the day, YOU control your thoughts. They don’t have to control you.
